5th Yamato 2199 Anime Film's Extended Promo Streamed ( Released In Theaters: Apr 13,2013, Released On DVD/Blu-Ray: May 28)
Film distributor Shochiku began streaming an extended promotional video for the Sapce Battleship Yamato 2199 anime series and film project's fifth film on Friday. Bōkyō no Gingakan Kūkan (Homesick Intergalactic Space) will open in 12 theaters in Japan on April 13, before going on sale on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 28.
The fourth film, which is composed of episodes 11-14, opened in 12 theaters in Japan on January 12, and was released on DVD and Blu-Ray disk on February 22.

Tokyo's Shinjuku Piccadilly theater, Osaka's Namba Parks Cinema, and Nagoya's Midland Square Cinema will hold premium advance screenings for the film on April 12. Tickets that include a bonus set of three B2-size key visual posters were available to Yamato Crew fan club members till Tuesday. Regular ticket sales will begin on Friday. Limited-edition Blu-Ray Discs and other items will be sold at the special screenings.
The project's fifth film is compsed of episodes 15-18 of this Space Battleship Yamato remake.
