4,101 people attended the overnight screenings of the
Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (Evangelion Shin Gekijō-ban Q Quickening)
movie at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater starting at midnight on Saturday. All
nine of the theater's screens showed the film a total of 17 times overnight.
The Shinjuku Wald 9 movie theater has a total of more than 1,800 seats in the
facility. The tickets for the overnight showings had sold out within five
minutes of going on sale.
