Armored Core V Mecha Game's Closed Beta to Be Streamed

Beta hosted on Ustream so non-testers can see October action game in development

The game developer From Software announced that it will stream the closed beta test of its customizable mecha action game Armored Core V on July 21 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Japan (6:00 to 8:00 a.m. EDT). The Famitsu website will host "Armored Core V ~The Test for Reboot~" via Ustream service. From Software is streaming the beta so that even people who could not sign up for the test can still preview the game while it is in development.
Unlike the previous games in the franchise, this upcoming entry will feature online playing in teams. However, the game will still offer the user the opportunity to customize a mecha from hundreds of parts. The game will ship for the Playstation3 and Xbox 360 game consoles in Japan on October 20 for 7,800 yen (about US$97).
